I believe the true power of AI in our field isn’t about replacing the critical thinking of a skilled project manager. It’s about augmenting our abilities. AI should be the ultimate enabler—the tool that automates the tedious, predicts the unforeseen, and analyzes the complex, freeing us up to do what humans do best: lead, strategize, and communicate. My analysis of every tool on this site is guided by this core philosophy: Does it empower the project manager? Does it make the team smarter? Does it lead to better, more human-centric outcomes?
My Journey: From Construction Sites to AI Implementation
My career began not in a tech office, but on large-scale construction sites. With a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), I learned the fundamentals of project execution in demanding environments. In my roles at Allied Bank Limited and Outfitters Stores, I managed everything from construction and renovation to maintenance, leading over 100 projects and achieving a 95% on-time project completion rate.
While rewarding, this experience also revealed the limitations of traditional methods. I saw firsthand how easily projects could be derailed by unforeseen risks and communication gaps. This drove me to find smarter, more data-driven ways to manage workflows.
My transition into tech-forward project management was solidified during my time as a Civil Engineer Specialist at Disperse. This role was the cornerstone of my expertise. I was directly responsible for integrating the company’s AI and computer vision solutions into mega-construction projects across the UK, USA, and UAE, including high-profile sites like:

Here, I used AI to support project coordination, automate progress updates, and ensure quality assurance. I collaborated closely with product and vision teams using Agile Methodologies to drive AI improvement initiatives. It’s this real-world, in-the-trenches experience that forms the foundation of every article on this site.
